Dagne Dover Landon Comparison & Brief Review

Here's another long-overdue post—a comparison of all five Landon sizes (XS-XL)! I don't have packing photos for all five sizes currently, but I'll explain how I've used them in the past and share some side-by-side comparisons. Dagne Dover Small Wade Diaper Tote: A Brief Review

In case you missed the news, Dagne Dover released a Baby Capsule this month! It includes three new styles—the Wade Tote (available in size small and large), the Indi Backpack, and the Joey changing kit. I don't have kids yet, but I didn't let that stop me from ordering a Small Wade in Dark Moss. The collection sold out in record time! While I can't speak to the Small Wade's ease of use as a diaper bag, I hope I can still provide some helpful information before the collection is restocked next week. Small Wade Diaper Tote: 13.75” L x 5.25” W x 9.5” H

Large Wade Diaper Tote: 16.25” L x 6” W x 12” H

The Wade Diaper Tote comes with a small Scout Pouch, two key leashes, two stroller attachments, a crossbody strap, a shoe bag, a water bottle holder, and a mini changing pad. One of the outside pockets is designed to hold baby wipes, but is also handy for things like sunglasses and charging cables. The zipper pulls lengths are generous, and there are ample interior pockets, all of which are sized to fit Dagne Dover's smaller wallet items (like the Slim Wallet/Accordion Travel Wallet). There's a luggage sleeve on the back as well as a cell phone slip pocket.

Two things that sold me on the Wade right away were its structured silhouette and the nearly 6" bag depth. I received it earlier this week and have already used it for an overnight hospital stay (as a visitor), running errands, and a multi-mile walk. So far so good, although I would recommend keeping your wallet in one of the pockets closest to where the water bottle holder is snapped—attempting to re-zip the bag one-handed after it's been completely unzipped is a challenge!

Dagne Dover XS Landon Review

I'm so glad Dagne Dover came out with an extra small version of the Landon! I love bags that are small enough to hold a small water bottle and just a couple of essentials, and the fact the XS Landon also has an exterior cell phone slip pocket, short crook-of-the-arm straps, and an adjustable crossbody strap makes it perfect in my eyes. I own it in three colors right now and would love to possibly add Almond Latte, Heather Gray, or Bay Blue to my collection someday as well.

I filmed this video for members of the Dagne Dover Appreciation society group on Facebook a few days after receiving my first XS Landon order—I discuss the pockets/overall layout and demonstrate how various smaller Dagne Dover items fit inside of the bag, and apologies in advance for my awkwardness. (Drinking game idea: take a shot every time I say something "fits nicely." 💀)

Now that I've had a couple of months to use my XS Landons, I thought I'd also share how I typically pack my own (and include a few other comparison photos).
